Back to work training-FETAC level 3 Certification in Employability Skills

The Certificate course in employability skills is a fulltime programme. It runs Monday to Friday, 30 hours a week for 30 weeks. The modules covered include communications, application of numbers, computer literacy, health and fitness, work experience, career planning and personal effectiveness. On completion of the course learners will have learners will have:

 • Personal and social skills that will enable them to be effective in social and work situations
 • A keen understanding of self-determination by identifying personal goals and developing realistic career and life plans relative to a variety of progression options of the course

To be eligible for this course learners must meet the following criteria: be over 18, have basic reading and writing skill, have self-experience of mental health difficulties and be motivated to take responsibility for their ongoing recovery. Learners in receipt of social welfare payments may be eligible for a training allowance as this course is funded by Fas.
